We start the tour with a sampling of local specialties offered at the weekly open air market at the entrance to the village square. We continue up the hill to a local caviste for a wine tasting, then to a superb local restaurant for a chat with the chef over a sampling of the plat du jour, making our way from one point to the next using the charming and labyrinthine back alleys of St. Paul to avoid the tourists. We'll then head to the fromagerie for a tasting of local cheeses and charcuterie as well as passionate conversation with the owners about France's most beloved export. We end our tour at the finest gelato shop in the village for a lesson in the proper tasting of Italian ice cream.
